Get the Feminismmug. A person who believes women deserve to be seen and treated with the same respect as men. Reasons: Women get judged and degraded for things when men don’t (when girls have sex or wear revealing clothes they are sluts, hoes, slags, thots or whores but men are praised).
Women are objectified and sexualised all the time (e.g catcalling, and terms like ‘school girl’ being sexualised but not ‘school boy’. Songs about only women’s bodies) It makes women feel dirty & uncomfortable & unworthy as they feel they are seen for no more than their bodies. Men often feel they have a right to control women (in 18 countries husbands are legally allowed to prevent their wives from working)
Men often think everything is about them (e.g if a women wears makeup) Men often feel they own a woman’s body (in around 10 counties (used to be 36 in 2017) a husband r@ping his wife is legal & 1 in 6 women have been the victim of attempted or completed rape in the US (ofc men are r@ped too, but it’s much more common for women). It is more in other places)
Women are often seen as dumber than men (there has still not been a SINGLE US female president, women aren’t allowed to drive in Saudi Arabia and the term ‘housewife’ + the gender pay gap still exists).
There are many more reasons and more depth but I can’t make it too long. If society has made you misogynistic, you need to be open-minded & change. Feminism does not exist because women want power. Be smarter. Misogyny is not cool.

Get the Feminismmug. Ok, a lot of definitions on here are really defensive and sad. Who hurt you people? Feminism is just equal rights between men and women. How would you feel if your mother, sister, wife, or daughter was called a “bitch” or a “slut”? I hope you would feel horribly about it because that would be the normal human reaction to have. Jesus Christ you people are scary.
Joe: “Hello fellow human. Seeing as you are a female member of our shared species, I was wondering if you could explain to me what feminism is?”
Jane: “Of course fellow human being. Although, you don’t have to be a woman in order to understand feminism. It is the belief that although we have a few differences between us, we can easily co-exist in equal standing because we are both humans and don’t really have a whole lot of differences.”
Joe: “Oh, that’s nice. Do you wanna hangout with me and my pet dog?”
Jane: “Sure!”
And they lived happily ever after because at the end of the day, who cares about what our differences are when there is a dog that needs our attention.

Get the Feminismmug. Movement claiming to be for equality but is really comprised of entitled women or those who support them demanding more freedoms for women so as to be superior to men. Tend to feel men should be obligated to be with them due to an overinflated understanding of their appeal as it pertains to a relationship.

If there are women acting that way, than that is misandry which is the same as misoginy. There are male And female feminists, anyone can be that. Get the Feminismmug. Feminism isn't just about improving the lives of women but also end not needed gender stereotypes. Real Feminism is still needed today. Feminists are a group of usually women that believe men are not born rapists, sexists, predators, or racist, but taught. We believe men can change and there is nothing wrong with the other gender. We strongly believe in don't let one apple ruin the whole orchard.
To all the people who say feminism isn't needed today you are wrong. Feminism today is ending the sexist strict dress codes that schools enforce today.
We don't use lies to shame the other gender but use true events to bring light of what people have done.
We don't deprive children of a relationship with their father.
We can do wrong. We know that. We also know everything a man does is not wrong. Men can do good things and that's okay. Fake feminists might call this toxic masculinity.
