How Moon Ferreting works is when someone is posting about an actual event, a rando will pop into the comments screaming about a bunch of things related to that topic that only exist in their imagination. So there's the real issue under discussion, but why won't you address this imaginary thing that they just made up! Your inability to justify the thing that hasn't happened and probably will never happen proves that you're a bad person and they win.
