Reversed Keyser Söze

Reversed Keyser Söze is when you think you're tricking the police (or someone that's in a position of power) and you end up ratting on yourself. Usually for a very hideous crime such as sexual assault.
It derives from a large court settlement when the infamous former Swedish photographer Dino Soldin ended up giving the Swedish police all the evidence they needed for the rape charges since he had filmed all of his sex crimes.

This works because the Emotional Distance from dislike to like is greater than having no opnion to liking someone.
