A "stereotype" in which the "crossover kid" will be a mixture of different stereotypes and thus impossible to "box in." Possibly breaking the barriers on one day or on different days.

Get the crossover kid mug.alrighty, since this scene kid thing is such a fight, i'll add on. yes, i'm one of those 'scene kids' , yes i'm part of one of those tight weird groups , who listens to crappy music. but why does everyone care what we do? we're gonna express ourselves the way we want too, and you shouldn't judge us. my wardrobe, is like 40 band tee-shirts. skinny jeans, some boot cut, and yes vans. converse. but i still have a pair of those nike shox. i mean, we aren't as weird as you guys put us. we have our style , and so do you guys. you preps wear all hollister, all american eagle, any brand name. and we wear graphic tees and band shirts , what make us so different? what bothers us more, is for most of us, our music is our life. we do everything with our ipod in our ears. yes, i listen to some of those scream bands, and metal, alternative, but i also listen to nicer bands like mayday parade & go radio. you typical 'preps' listen to lmfao, lil wayne, bruno mars, lady gaga. but we don't judge you guys, as much as you judge us. you wonder why we are insecure to add people, & socialize with everyone. we get judged EVERYWHERE we go because of it. there's always those people that give us the dirty looks and everything. and no, we don't have sex with eachother. i know alot of people think since we're such a tight group we are bound to fuck eachother. i always found that entertaining.

Get the Scene kids mug.A 'Pixey Kid' or 'Pixter' is a term for someone who is influenced by all types of rock/hardcore/punk/emo/alternative music. Their style varies from person to person, which is more than whats to be said for 'Scene kids' or 'Emo kids' who all look exactly the same.
In general, a Pixey kid has slightly similar style to Emo except more colorful, but not as random as Scene.
For example; tight jeans of any color for girls, also skirts are great, but not really short ones. For boys jeans, or any normal pants are acceptable, bright t-shirts with anything on them. Stripes and swirly patterns are very popular. Preferred shoes are Converse Low Tops of any color.
Girls jewelery, big earrings, colorful bracelets, colorful belts ect..
They differ from scene and emo in this way, they are not guided by strict rules of fashion. In general, bright clothing, as Pixters are happy,normal people with unique interests in music and lifestyle.
The exeption is that Pixey Kids must own at least 2 My Melody items as that is very popular for Pixey girls.
Pixey hairstyles are basically semi-scene hair. Not as outrageous are pure-blood scene, but still stylish and awesome.
Natural hair-colors are fine, with maybe a dash of bright color for girls.
Important Note: Pixey Kids DO NOT WEAR BOWS! They are for 3 year olds and scene kids!
Theirs none of that xXxScenexXKweenxXx crap going on, on Myspace they use their normal names, but with little odd symbols like ☏★♧ in their names.
