A level in the video game "Super Mario 64". While originally not really a level many thought too much of, it evolved into an internet legend, with many stories told about the level.
When looked into deeper, the level has many oddities. Firstly, the odd and eerie skybox, theorised to be of a town in Yemen that looks extremely odd and out of place. Secondly, an abandoned town where you collect red coins gives way to many theories about how this town was abandoned or some other stories.
In all, the level gives people bad vibes, and was made forever famous by the infamous Mario 64 iceberg video by Mish Koz, with the famous entry "Wet-Dry World Negative Emotional Aura." While it may be overthinking too much (it almost certainly is), is there something really sinister behind this at first unremarkable level in Super Mario 64?

Me: Yo, whats your least favourite level in Mario 64?
Friend: Bro, it has to be Wet-Dry World. Not only is it a boring level, but it is also extremely eerie, and all in all gives me bad vibes whenever I play it
Me: There is the phenomenon called the Wet-Dry World negative emotional aura you know?
Friend: Ehh, I wont think too much about it.
