The combination of the words "work" and "worship." The idea that our work is worship to God—a concept based on the Hebrew word "Avodah," which is translated as "work," "worship," and "service" in the Hebrew Bible or Old Testament.

Yeah I don't see how that affects or negates the meaning of an act.

Hym "Because I could make the exact same argument about molestation by priests. Like 'Yeah, the priest molested that kid but the meaning of the act is negated by the fact that the organization the priest is a part of performs works of charity.' Ya know? So, no. I don't think that holds up. Good try though. I do think, however, it is ok for it to be an anti-christian act."

Workshop whore

Mostly used to describe the first year apprentice of a Crash repairer or Bodyshop , the person who has to do all the work nobody has time for or wants to do themselves.

Panel beater to spray painter....can you get someone to empty the bins and sweep the floor.....Spray painter. Yeah , I'll get the Workshop whore to do it after they've cleaned the toilet..

Workspace Ambient

A genre of ambient music for work or study. It is defined by being music that is *not* for listening i.e. underscore or undercurrent. Unobtrusive, calming, simple, reflective. The tonal quality of sounds is more important than melody. There may be chant (sacred or choral), binaural or other tonal/ rhythmic elements known to produce calming effect. There is typically ambient embellishment (e.g. sounds from nature). It is *not* elevator music miss you Astrud.

Unfortunately, the workspace ambient had sent the entire staff into a deep, peaceful sleep and productivity plunged that day... Just joking. Workspace ambient saved the day - 423% increase in staff productivity, no office arguments, and the the boss gave everyone bonus salary!
