Skill Issue

"Skill Issue" is a phrase or term often used and inserted into conversations regarding video games or other media. The phrase is used to deem a failure or other similar scenario where the player is not successful and they proceed to blame it on the factors of the game or their opponents, when it is in fact, their fault. It can be used both as a genuine criticism of someone's skill, or ironically when it is in fact a factor completely out of their control to serve as a joke. It can also be used in real-life scenarios or other forms of non-video game media, where it is used as a video game related substitute to make a statement ironically or humorously.
Scenario 1: Genuinely

Person 1: Dude, how did I die there? That guy's got to be hacking! That's unfair
Person 2: I dunno, seems like a skill issue.
Scenario 2: Sarcastically/Ironically
Person 1: What? My internet just went out and I got disconnected! That sucks!
Person 2: (Sarcastically) Skill Issue.
Scenario 3: Unrelated to game
Person 1: Wow, I did not expect Iron Man to die at the end of Avengers: Endgame.
Person 2: (Mockingly) Iron Man had a Skill Issue, just don't die, LOL.

wet iron skillet

1)fabricated expenditures; made-up handling fees; add-on taxes; fake surcharges. Costs that are made up after a price for the product, or service, has already been given. 2)A way to make more money after a price has already been given for a product or service. This process usually feels to the customer like they just got hit with a "wet iron skillet".
"Just lowball him and when he gets here we'll hit him with the wet iron skillet."

Talent or ability. Something employers do NOT want in a candidate. They want youth and perhaps an attractive appearance.
I spent 25 years developing my job skills, and can't find a job. The bosses only want inexperienced doofuses right out of college.
