orinating

Oratchatang

An Oratchatang is typically a female who cannot manage her emotions and acts out in public without concern about consequences. Generally a woman who overreacts to any annoyance that she thinks can be handled by causing a scene and escalating a situation until resolved by embarrassing another person to force resolution in her favor or until taken away by law enforcement. Originated by a popular podcaster to describe certain behaviors usually by immature female adults but can apply to males demonstrating similar behavior.

An Oratchatang had to be taken off the plane by the police when she took another passenger’s seat and physically fought the flight crew.

Onata incident

At one time, in the South Korea, there was a rumor that if students had the S-shaped emblem, they could go to a prestigious university (Seoul National University), and if they had the letter III, they could get a score of 300 on the College Scholastic Ability Test, which led to the Onata incident in which test takers secretly removed the Sonata III emblem. Therefore, there were many Sonata IIIs with the letters S and III missing from the emblem and for this reason, Hyundai Motors implemented a free emblem replacement service.

During the Onata incident, students were so desperate to hide the missing S-shaped emblem from their Hyundai Sonata III that they started arriving at the test center with blank emblems just to avoid suspicion!

ornamental hermit

Also known as a "garden hermit"; a person hired by wealthy landowners in the 18th century to live in solitude in a specially built hermitage, folly, or grotto on their estate, acting as a living decoration. They were expected to embody the qualities of a druid and live a secluded life, often with specific rules like growing their hair and beard long and not washing. In return for their service, they received lodging, food, and a stipend. Landowners and their guests might occasionally consult their garden hermits for advice, stories, or entertainment.

Landowners placed advertisements in local newspapers seeking ornamental hermits to live on their property for long spans of time (7 years, in one instance).One legend goes that someone's ornamental hermit was found drinking at a local pub 3 weeks into their tenure, thus breaching their contract.
