These are people who are depressed. They sometimes don't show it, but they express their feelings in their appearance. Depending on how deep they are, they cut themselves. The highest they can go is drugs making them "better". These people are very emotional. They think about death frequently and if they go to far many commit.

Anyone that listens to the emo trinity (The Father, Fall Out Boy, the Son, Panic! At the Disco, and the Holy Spirit, My Chemical Romance) that hates their parents and likes the show My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. They're usually a pretty hardcore emo and more often than not have undiagnosed clinical depression.

an emo kid is a boy/girl who is deeply in touch with their feelings and is not affraid to show them, we often wear dark clothes, tight jeans and small shirts, studded belts and wrist bands. We are not gays or fags just because we are emo, we do whatever the hell we want and dont give a shit, often we will have alot of peircings ad chill in isolated areas, away from the norm (average preppy people) we love emotional music and we are not affraid to cry, we will have long dark hair that often covers atleast one eye we see this world as a beautiful place.
