Hit by a Tree scenario

A scenario, usually brought up at work, in which a tree falls ontop of you the next day.

Usually this is brought up to force you to document your work, so others can continue/finish it if something would happen to you, whether this is you actually dying or you getting replaced by someone cheaper.
Alice: "I just pushed IEEE 802.11mc to the main repo, there is still a lot of work to do."
Bob: "Don't forget the hit by a Tree scenario"
