Western Oregon

Where 90% of Oregonians live. It has the entire Oregon Coast, Portland area, Willamette Valley, and Rogue Valley. It’s what Oregon is known for.

Western Oregon beats Central and Eastern Oregon at everything. It has the coast which is why it’s superior.

I'm glad I live in Western Oregon instead of Central or Eastern Oregon.

Oregon Coast

A natural paradise. One of the most beautiful places in the world. It goes from Astoria of Clatsop County which borders Washington to Brookings of Curry County which borders California. There are lots of beaches, forests, lakes, rivers, and towns to visit.

Me: Man, I wish I could live on the Oregon Coast.

Family Member: Where do you want to live the most on the coast?

Me: Coos Bay or Newport.

Family Member: Those are nice places.

Oregon trail

Northern Oregon

The north coast, the Portland area, the gorge, and the northeast. It goes from Clatsop/Tillamook to Wallowa County.

Northern Oregon is where most of the state lives.

I love Northern Oregon. I wish there were a Northern Oregon University.

Oregon Waffle

Originally the name of the footwear that started it all for Nike's humble beginnings when Coach Bowerman at U of O molded the sole of a running shoe out of the pattern made from the profile of a waffle iron in order to accommodate the runner's transition from cinder track to the newer artificial surfaces emerging . The term has now come to refer to liberal hyprocarcy. Oregon is known for its vast dichotomy of politics from utlra conservative in the east to ultra liberal in the west.

You could see the large carbon footprint left behind from her Oregon Waffles as Sara raced off to catch her Maui vacation flight in her late model Subaru following her Global Warming fun run in Portland.
