Slang for the Dixie Chicks after Maines and company started talking down about our country and president. One example from Maines:
“Why do you have to be a patriot? About what? This land is our land? Why? You can like where you live and like your life, but as for loving the whole country… I don’t see why people care about patriotism.”

I hope to never hear the ditsy twits again on the radio. I hate their anti USA rhetoric

often makes its way into the language of drunken sorority girls with too much time on their hands, and those who are still single.

"Did you see the ditties I bought at the mall?"
"Why are there ditty markings all over the wall?"
