Free Bleeding

Free Bleeding is an unsettling feminist trend in which women on their periods refuse to use tampons and other feminine hygiene products and instead let blood flow freely from their uterus and down their legs. The logic behind this is that tampons are a male-created product that promotes patriarchy by tricking women into raping themselves.
My aunt decided to try free bleeding. I now refuse to sit on any of her furniture.

blendaphor

Blending two metaphorical expressions that have the same meaning, mainly to see if people are paying attention or to create an amusing visual. Randomly blending any two expressions that do not have the same meaning, or tacking on to the metaphorical expression with a rogue ending is a botched attempt at blendaphoring.
Fish or get off the pot. Whole new ball of worms. Not the brightest bulb in the drawer. That horse has sailed. That's the way the cookie bounces. It's not rocket surgery. Like flies on rice.

Botched blendaphor examples: As American as killing two birds with one apple pie. You can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink prune juice.
