America's Got Talent

A "reality-based" gameshow where Americans, desperate to live their so-called "dreams" by winning a million dollars and becoming professional entertainers, perform in numerous rounds of competition in which they are judged by two non-Americans and a comedian with no discernable real talent. Contestants are kept on or rejected by popular vote regardless of merit or the judging panel's opinions.

Host: "Welcome to America's Got Talent! Piers, you didn't like this act... but America has voted.. and... WE'LL SEE YOU IN LAS VEGAS!!!"

Average American

A stereotype, (most common in other advanced countries) which stereotypes the majority of America as extremely obese people who do nothing, (and are often unemployed).

American University

A college of about 6,000 undergrads in NW Washington, DC. American is consistently ranked in the Top 100 Colleges in the United States (currently #85 by U.S. News & World Report). It has students from all 50 states and 140 countries. Besides George Washington University it is the only university in America chartered by an act of Congress. You won't get your typical "college" experience here, as many students are off campus and involved in outside jobs, internships, etc. in the District of Columbia. American sports a small, though charming and beautiful, campus. Some of the students can be stuck up and talk about how they "got into Harvard, Georgetown, and Columbia, but got a full ride at AU", but overall most of the kids are down to Earth and friendly. Most everyone's politically active/knowledgable, and campus life is generally stimulating. It's a dry campus though, and the RA's/Campus Security can get God-complexes sometimes, so take a shuttle/10 minute walk to the metro and go to Adams Morgan or Georgetown on weekends. Generally though a pretty chill place to go to school.

"Dude did you know Goldie Hawn lost her virginity at American University?"
"Wait, what?!"

"Why does AU campus security have segways now?"
"I dunno, but I mean they're already packing it on, what good is obese security?"

America Jr.

1) A nickname for the country above the United States, called Canada. It's famous for ... being that country above the USA. It has the same stores, brands, cars and way of life as America, but with free health care.

2) The city of Toronto, Ontario. Unofficially annexed by the United States, back in the 80's.

Torontonian: "Come visit Canada! It's great up here, we have big SUV's, McDonald's, Wal-Mart's and we even have the second tallest free standing structure in the world called the CN Tower, it looks like a penis!"

Homer: "Canada? Why would I want to leave America just to visit America Jr.?"

Blafrican-American

Used only when a white person is speaking to or around a black person. Occurs when the white person begins to say "black" and quickly corrects him/herself to say "African-American"

America's Next Top Hooker

This is a fake TV show from the video game: Grand Theft Auto 4. This show is obviously making fun of the terrible show: America's Next Top Model. In reality the two shows achieve the same thing, which is judging women solely based on there bodies.

I was playing Grand Theft Auto and I heard an advertisement for "America's Next Top Hooker" on the radio, while I was running over hookers. It was funny.
