Ghosted

When someone expresses a desire to do something with you or be with you, but when the time comes they have suddenly "disappeared" and there is no word as to why or where they went. Ghosting can be a short-term or lon-term occurrence.

Short term like "We were supposed to go to the rave together but you ghosted me and I had to go alone, you jerk." Or it can be long-term like "We met on tinder, had a couple awesome dates, but then they ghosted me. Their phone number doesn't work anymore and all the emails I send come back with NDRs. It's like they just fell off the face of the planet."

I've noticed a lot of corporate ghosting in the media since President Obama is nearing the end of his term. The anchors used to be more diverse and now they have returned to mostly white men. Oh well, it was nice while it lasted!

When you’re taking a poop and you go to wipe but nothing comes off on the paper, so you look in the toilet but there’s nothing there either because the turd suddenly got shot down the hole before you even flushed.

My poop was like literally ghosting me.
