A military term for something truly shite.
Often used to describe the very presence of a lower rank.

1) - "Oi Private, your kit is proper gash. Fucking sort yourself out, and get the fuck out of my face." - some Corporal.

2) - "Every single one of you is in gash state. Fuck off." - Probably the same Corporal.

The title of a song by Kpop idol Sunmi it is also used as a word in the song itself. There is a dance of which accompanies the song where gun fingers are used and you move your head from side to side.
