OMG my coworker took her mask off for the first time today and I had total mask shock. Her real face was so much prettier than I imagined!

Holy shit! I've been flirting with that guy for months and today the mask shock was real. He definitely isn't as hot as I thought.

A term used to define the when there is no suspense built up to a scare in a movie or television show. Usually the shock comes out of nowhere or when the suspense has built up and faded.
Used in conjunction with the word value. As in "Realtime Shock Value"

"The realtime shock value in that film was amazing!"
