Lead Platform

When a software product, usually a video game is being developed for multiple systems (ex. playstation 3, xbox 360.) the devloper will often create the product on one then create a port, or reformatted version for the other. The system that the software is developed for first is the lead platform.

The act of posting a vague, attention seeking update on your social network profile that requires other users to inquire about your status.

John: "That girl Ashley posts nothing but leading status updates. Today's was, 'Why do things like this always happen to me?'"
Pete: "Things like what?"
John: "No one knows, she's trying to lead you into feeling bad for her and comment on her update."

Leading cadet

Runs around in circles and are slightly co ordinated. Easily tempted by chocolate, and simple to bribe, and are extremely viscious when told there is no chocolate, have tendancies to require very simple words when being given tasks. Experts in broom handling. Approch with caution the smell is toxic.

Legacy System

An outdated, obsolete computer system that no longer serves any use as it cannot perform the necessary tasks required of it.

Can also be used as insult to incompetent or feeble human beings.

"Yo dude, Is that excel 97 you're using?!?"
"Yea my company is too cheap to update their software. Upper management is focused on maximizing revenue."
