Peeps day

The Monday directly following Easter. This day one can buy a large assortment of Peeps at ridiculously low prices. Peeps day is celebrated with much laughter, joy and eventual sugary regret.

Person 1: I am so excited.
Person 2: Why? Cause it is Easter?
Person 1: No. Because tomorrow is Peeps day.

Hobbit Day

The practice of suspending a diet for a day to indulge in overeating. This phrase is inspired by J.R.R. Tolkien's The Hobbit in which it states that the eponymous creatures eat seven meals a day; first breakfast, second breakfast, elevensies, luncheon, tea, dinner, and supper.

I've been a good boy all week, but Saturday is my Hobbit Day so stand back and keep your fingers and toes well clear of my mouth when that drops.

I haven't eaten a carb in weeks, but I'm going to get my Hobbit on come Saturday.

Green Day

A punk-rock band that consists of a group of sexy mofos. These sexy mofos are Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt, and Tre Cool. Many people consider them to be sell outs because they're music has changed over the years, but they've changed too. I personally think that all of their music is amazing, from Dookie to 21st Century Breakdown. If you have nothing good to say about their new music, keep listening to the old. It's still there. The name Green Day is based on smoking pot. The members of Green Day used to smoke pot but have stopped because of their families. Some of their hits include: Longview, Basket Case, Warning, American Idiot, Wake Me Up When September Ends, 21 Guns, and Good Riddance (Time of Your Life). Green Day has been around for MANY years even though many people didn't know it.

Bob: Did you hear about Awesome as F**k?
Rob: Yeah. It's a Green Day CD with live songs.
