Originally used for defining slang words deriving from the URBAN community, has now transformed in a place to make up words and think that they are funny.
It is also used to look up words that would never be used by someone ACTUALLY native to an urban area, such as LOL.

Urban dictionary

A website for users to research references made in popular culture, including slang and internet memes. A slight flaw being that almost any reference can be categorised as being in some context related to the use of drugs (legal or otherwise) or more commonly sex.

I looked up the phrase "hammer it out" on urban dictionary and there was little reference to the origin of the phrase relating to panel beating and many definitions relating to sex.
