A pejorative slang term for adult children (usually a young adult in his / her 20's) who cannot afford moving out from parents' house, resulting in an indefinite student-teacher relationship behween aforementioned adult child and parents.
People sometimes use high schooler to mean an adult in their 20s who still lives with their parents and feels stuck in a student–teacher dynamic. Nonetheless, I’m basically a high schooler at home—staying with my parents longer than expected because I can’t afford moving out yet.

The "surrealism" (or "high school like" feeling) experienced by a young adult child's inability to afford moving out from parents' house past the age of 20. It's important to note that this phenomenon can cause "high school student" and "high school teachers" child-parent relationship.
I can’t afford to move out past 20, so I’m stuck in this ‘high school’ mode—my parents are acting like teachers and I’m stuck playing the student, which makes my whole writing feel surreal.
