Rate-A-Chink

The process of rating Chinese buffets. The rating is based on the following: 1) quality of food; 2) atmosphere; 3) egg roll quality (are they ruined with cinnamon or lack of meat); 4) service; 5) cost. Having a stir fry table gives you bonus points. The rating runs 1-10.

Dan and I have extensively done Rate-A-Chink in the greater Mesa area, having rated every Chinese Buffet.

A rate no human can physically manage, allegedly helps rowers win races, most likely derived from an ancient chinese method of torture.

Coach: "How did the 2k go?"
Rower: currently lying collapsed on the floor "I can't move, we did the entire piece at Rowena Rate"

A term used in insurance underwriting that means the applicant will have to pay additional premiums for the coverage for which he or she has applied. Underwriters often rate a policy arbitrarily to increase the company's "bottom line."
