A marriage that is performed on impulse by one or both of the married couple. The couple may barely know each other or have just met and have decided to get married on the whim. A marriage based upon the satisfaction of the moment, just like Sigmund Freud's theory of the id.

Named after the "id", the psychoanalytical theory of Dr. Sigmund Freud which deals with the primitive instincts of humanity particularly SEX and AGGRESSION residing in the human subconscious. In a nutshell, all those impulses that a rational sane person keeps bottled up under the surface & a less ration, altered(see drunk, Ambien influenced, etc), or thoroughly unsocialized/unsociable motherfucker lets slip at key moments or on a regular basis when placed in front of a digital device.
