This is a genre of film for sad comedy. Similar to a "rom com" (romantic comedy), romance is replaced with tears or sobbing.
That movie was great! Couldn't stop crying and laughing at the same time! This Sob Com had all the best parts of Failure to Launch but was much much sadder and better.....

Comedy zombie apocalypse movies, like Shaun of the Dead , Zombieland, Warm Bodies, Dead Snow
