Call Mum

When someone does something or says something only because someone else reminded them or forced them to. This is usually in the context to "make things right/better", when they haven't thought of it themselves. Like when siblings tell each other to "Call Mum" cause it will make her happy but they don't always think to do it.

Eg. 1 Call Mum
He - "I miss you"
She - "Oh I miss you too"
He - "Did you just call mummed me?"

Eg.2 Call mum
Dan: "It's Jake's birthday today"
Rob: "Happy Bday Jake!"
Jake: " Thanks. Did you actually remember or were you called mommed?"

When a colleague from work phones you hammered all the time, usually from copious amounts of wine or beer, and there’s no escape!
