Car Brain

An American living the suburbs who is incapable of thinking about getting from place to place without taking his or her car. Complains about safety on transit all the time, and opposes all "socialist" transit projects, even though it would benefit them without the carbrain needing to take action. May alsoo be a NIMBY, but not necessarily, and should not be used interchangeably.
