Same meaning as "play it by ear"; to deal with something as it develops rather than planning on how to act. Use it in speech and no one will know you are saying "year" rather than "by ear". Watch as chaos ensues.

A band the preforms good emo songs and aren't one of those pop-punk sellouts. All in all, this is one heck of a good band that is a rare breed. Their music is 100% original and 100% Meaningful.

A real fourth class system not to be confused with the puny Rat line, Plebe summer, or Beast barracks. A fun filled nine months of Spirit runs with a all expenses paid trip to the ER. two hour long mop details in freezing weather. School spirit, An actual education unlike VMI, and a set of balls at the end.

An expression used to describe an extremely long time between either seeing or talking to someone, similar to the ghetto term of a hot minute. Bape is used in this context to make the time seem much longer.
Bro 1: Yo son, I haven't seen you in a bape and a year since the last bro circle.
Bro 2: I know, how's your mother?
