Examples of this include character design, environment art, pre-visulization, actual character animation, lighting, etc. Often seen as lazy depending on the critic's opinion of the piece under scrutiny.

Why hell did they use the same Glorbo design in Glorbo's Big Adventure 2? The lazy animators didn't even bother to change a thing about him!

Not being able to move parts on their own while animating due to peg hierarchies in the rig. The most infuriating thing.

I went to move the one asset but the overlay moved as well, counter animating the animation on the overlay peg.
