Canadian Minute

A minute to a Canadian that is incredibly longer than any other minute in the world.

We needed to meet Danny in 45 minutes but he took a Canadian minute to get ready, so we were late.

Typically longer than the slang "minute" the hot minute is defined as a very long time. Usually between a two to twenty years.

In the reagan administration we got as close as 4 minutes to midnight.
