When twitter's add location feature doesn't work and says you're tweeting from a completely different place.

Twitter's playing location roulette with me. I just tweeted in Glasgow but twitter says I'm in Florida. WTF?

local fans

Local fans are those who only cheer for whatever is closest to them and because that's what everyone else around them do. Local fans usually don't have a mind of their own rather just follow whoever the idiot of the day is. Usually ignorant when it comes to sports with the only knowledge is what opinions from espn they catch on TV rather than get the facts. Local fans do not travel to away games because it is out of their comfort zone and other local fans do not know where and when their team plays if it's not on the local listings.

Jose is a perfect example of local fans because he likes dodgers and dislikes any team that's not originally from "LA" even though the Angels were never from Brooklyn... And Jose lives 55 minutes away from LA but it's the closest team to his house.

Super basic dad. Lives at Home Depot, refuses to upgrade his cellular device, and pretends to be progressive by letting his teenage daughters listen to "that cool new rap" music, but turns down the volume (or just silently cringes) at the cuss words.

Local dads have either a very stale sense of humor, bad comedic timing, or both.

Definitely collects baseball caps.

Local dads are like their coffee tumblrs; kinda hot.

A "local dad" can also be used to describe anyone, male or female, who dresses like a "local dad"... typically frumpy athleisure.

"Harriet just sent me a snap of her at Lowes, looking for a new DIY furniture project..."

"Look at her new thrifted baseball cap!"

"Harriet is SUCH a local dad. Smh."
