Get the Studio Dragon mug.Phrase used by producers and musicians alike to describe a sort-of "sound-blindness" brought on by the excitement of just finishing a recording. This causes something to sound breathtaking; only for it to sound mediocre or bad after further listening. Usually used to refer to a mix, but can apply to many parts of a recording. The effect is at it's worst in the late hours of the night.
"I thought that my mix was perfect last night. Pure studio fever! The next morning you could barely hear the bass or guitar."

Studio Polygon also has a large community on the social media app Discord which is well known to be full of toxicity and bootlickers.
