1. Noun; A person who teaches special education on a school campus

2. Noun; The designated person who watches over everyone else while they are under the influence. Usually they are undergoing the effects of alcohol, marijuana, shrooms or LSD. If anyone is having a bad trip they will take care of them.

3. Verb; To chaperone and look after people undergoing a serious high.

2. We need you to be the tard guard tonight. We’ll only be high for like 2 hours don’t be a pussy.
3. I had to tard guard the boys all weekend, it was the worst. None of them even had bad trips so I just sat there the whole time.
