Emerging Adult

A very specific life stage that is often overlooked by our society. The time between adolescence and adulthood- somewhere between the ages of 18 and 30 (the end point is debatable). Because of the format of our current society, things like college and the economy force this age group into a state of perpetual adolescence based primarily on a strong dependence on the income of one's parents. This age group tends to live at home (usually in a basement apartment of some sort) and mooch off of family for food and shelter, but are still responsible for many "adult things", like student loans and cell phone payments.

Dr. Timmy is 28 and lives in his parent's garage apartment. What an emerging adult!

The Emerald Arcade

The Emerald Arcade is Derf's place of awesome awesomeness. Upon arrival you are greeted by awesome E3 booth babes and such a rush of massive awesomeness that you might as well be getting super-powers. In the general atrium-like room of the Emerald Arcade is every video game that has ever, or is yet to be, made. It holds unbelievably advanced technology and if you ask nicely Derf may grant you your own personal heaven, within Derf reason though. The Emerald Arcade holds all things any human gamer or techno-geek could ever want or need. It is the highest thing any human being could ever aspire to, though it's not that difficult to get in.
