This friend of mine heard I cheated on my girlfriend, so she decided to tell me about all the time she cheated. I guess she was looking for some cheater's comfort.

After a long coding session with your awful superior at work, you start coding complete sense-numbing shit instead of eating twinkies.

In other words: coding to avoid comfort food.

My Superior: "Move this 5 px right. Color this blue. Center the text. Align the text right. No, center. Update AWS settings, wait, don't, color the previous thing green. why did you not update AWS settings?"

comfort ship

A comfort ship is a ship that when you see content of, it can help boost your mood. It can also be a ship that you hold very close to you, and that you love so much that it radiates comfort. Basically, it's just a ship that gives you good vibes from their chemistry and interactions <3. There's also a good chance someones comfort ship might also be their OTP.

Note; A comfort ship doesn't need to be one without any angst. There are a lot of ships people say are their comfort ships that end up not happening and/or have angst in them. Nor does a comfort ship need any sad themes to be one.

Person 1: "Is this your comfort ship?"
Person 2: "Yup! It is <3. I love those two so much!!"

Comfort Porn

A comic where there aren't any jokes, it's just a character being nice to another character who is in emotional pain. There is no punchline. The final panel instead says something along the lines of "It's all going to be ok".

Variations include:
-A character talking about their lack of confidence in something not to another character, but to the reader.
-A character getting the courage to go off and accomplish things today.
-A character growing tired while drawing at a cintiq and then getting a second wind.
-A character waxing nostalgic about their childhood, then comparing it to their life now, then seeing kids doing a modern day version of what they were doing as a kid, and coming to the conclusion that things will be ok.

Friend: "Why does this comic about some sad mouse being comforted by another mouse have so many likes on insta?"
You: "Because people like your aunt will always be suckers for comfort porn."

Comfort room

Where students study,talk,change clothes and apparantly eat. It is also used rarely to escape class for a minute to wake them selves up.Of course it is also used to pee and poop in ,but some students try to not poop in school.Honestly,the possibilities are endless. it's even used to take selfies or videos or groufies.
