Hammering the Beets

Male masturbation. Typically, the more vigorous and rough variety. Not just a causal wank.
I walked in on my roommate sitting on the toilet hammering the beets. I wondered what the smacking was.

My uncle paid me $50 to let him watch me hammering the beets.

I’m so sore from hammering the beets. My balls are swollen. I was on pornhub all day.

Birds and the bees

1)The talk that a parent (usually a mother) gives her daughter/son on the night of their first date, containing safe sex, or abstinence. The whole point of the 'birds and bees' is to convince you NOT to have sex.

2)The most annoying talk in the world.
1) Mom- Honey, we need to talk.
Daughter- Mom, I DON'T want the 'birds and the bees' talk.
Mom- But you need to know not to have sex. You could get pregnant and die!
Daughter- We're JUST going to a friend's house for a small get-together.
Mom- Are there going to be a lot of boys there?
Daughter- No Mom, it's a nun club.

Bill: "Nothing, but I can plow the beets."
Cindy: "Oh Bill, I've always wanted to have my beets plowed!"

Birds and The Bees

When a parent or guardian thinks you're old enough to get 'the talk', so they tell you that it's time to talk about the birds and the bees.

Most of the time, it's the worst talk ever. Like, ever.
Mum: Honey, time to talk.
Boy: About what?
Mum: About the birds and the bees, honey.
Boy: *screams and runs* I'M TOO YOUNG TO KNOW!!

the birds and the bees

noun. 1. pertaining to two types of winged animals, known for their contrary mating habits. 2. metaphor - pertaining to the delicate time in a young man's life when he begins to notice females in a 'special way,' seeing them not as harbingers of cooties, but as 'totally wordboneable.' Specifically, it refers to the courtship and love-making act commonly engaged in while in the backseat of his father's Buick.
1. "It must be spring," cried Billy. "Look at all the birds and the bees!" 2. "Son, you are coming of age now, and, well, um, I think we need to have 'The Talk.' You know, about the birds and the bees," said Father.
"Aww shit," thought Son. "I wish I were wasted right now."
