They are the surgeon’s right hand yet they are unknown: the unsung heroes in scrubs. Sometimes they need to be a referee, carpenter, plumber, engineer, psychologist, babysitter, teacher, a hand holder, a smart ass, psychic, and a mind reader: jack of all trades, master of none.... except how to kickass and keep things running smoothly in the high stress OR.

I thought a nurse scrubbed in with the surgeon but it’s a surgical tech!
