When someone is showing a little more skin than is acceptable, people say "it's snowing in ___" and name a place that is either above the equator or below, based on where that bare skin is.

"Um Cathy, it's snowing really bad in Russia."
"What do you me-- ohh, thanks." *buttons one more button in shirt*

Shooting evil looks at someone to preempt them from intruding on your space, taking the seat next to you on mass transit, or starting a conversation with you.

There was only one seat left on the bus, but the old lady next to it was scowling forecasts at me so I stood the whole way.
