To popovich something means to skip, or forget about it. There's no point in doing it, and you'd rather just chill and let shit happen.

Origin: Gregg popovich of the san antonio spurs just gave duncan, ginobli and parker (his 3 best players) the day off, because they would have got too tired to play back to back games.

Using his method, he almost nearly prevailed in beating the denver nuggets, and in doing so, infuriated the coach of the denver nuggets. Although the nuggets won the game, they never got the satisfaction of beating their spurs.

I was walking past a law office yesterday morning when a solo practitioner leaned out of his window and shouted obscenities at me; bottle of Popov clenched in hand and cheap tie waving in the wind. Pathetic what's happened to the "profession" of law these days.

I walked past a run-down law office yesterday morning when this solo attorney leaned out a window and started shouting expletives at me. He was in a mustard stained shirt with a cheap tie, clenching a bottle of Popov vodka in one hand and waving his fist at me with the other. Sad what's happened to the "profession" of law these days.
