A catch phrase is a short cool/funny phrase that someone says for a certain occasion. A catch phrase is usually unique to a certain person. You can't steal someone else's catch phrase because that's not cool. You gotta make up your own.

a cute name for a catch-phrase that literally becomes a family maxim/motto worthy of being included on the family's coat-of-arms.

a small boy comes to his dad and asks: "what is it again, i can't remember, your famous cherry-phrase in Latin, that you use, when describing the origins of human ethnocentrism and xenophobia?

father: The cherry-phrase you are referring to is damno quod non intelligo. Now what I was going to add, Alex, is that you have a goldfish's memory. don't take offense, since this is an IMHO comment.

Phrack Whore

This is the step up from a gontermaniac, being a "fan" of the hilariously awful "art" of David Gonterman, self-described as "The Internet's Most Dangerous Cartoonist!" Unlike gontermaniacs, Phrack Whores follow his delightful antics and crappy art obsessively, checking his pages daily and constantly critiquing them online.
The derivation is from Davey's made-up non-swear words, "SHOTZ!!" and "PHRACK!!!"
