Pelege is a type of food found in the Pel root. It can be used for many types of foods but tradionally is deep fried and served with an onion on the side. The Pelege is known for its unique sounds, when harvesting the Pelege from the bottom of the Pel root and or cooking the Pelege in hot water you can sometimes hear high pitch voices that sound like screams of fear.
