Nancompoop

A nancompoop is someone who means well but tends to screw things up. Not so much a nincompoop, in that they aren't just screwing up because they are clumsy or stupid. Nancompoops screw up more so that they are oblivious to whats going on and don't really pay attention to what others are doing or how they will feel about things.

-Dude, yesterday Anthony left the tv on all night and i kept waking up.
-He didn't set the timer? What a nancompoop!

A less intense version of hootnan that is commonly used by those who can't handle the extremeity hootnan.

When I am excited I yell nanhoot because I just can't handle the strength of hootnan.
