The act of only cutting one's front yard while leaving the back yard grass long and unkempt, in order to increase curb appeal and pacify one's spouse and neighbors without spending too much time on the project. Similar to a popular Southern hairstyle.

Thor was tired of Stephanie's nagging about the lawn but also wanted to watch the WNBA finals, so he just gave the yard a mowlett and called it a day.

When you’re playing any kind of team sport and someone on your side, either through incompetence or over exuberance (or a mixture of both), takes out one or more of their own team. Often resulting in being ejected from the game.

If he/she keeps mowling like this, we’ll never win.
