Lovestep is a sub-genre of dubstep. Taking the same overall sound of overwhelming sub-bass lines and reverberant drum patterns and putting them together with softer R&B hits.

Silver Medallion's hit "All I Ask" remixed by Overwerk is an example of lovestep.
