Really short, cut-off, jean shorts worn by men. Basically, a male version of Daisy Dukes. Popular in the 80s and 90s.

They get their name from Steve Guttenberg's shorts at the beginning of 'Police Academy'.

Guttenbug

A bug in software that comes from Copy&Pasting code.

The name comes from a former minister in germany (Guttenberg) who cheated in his doctoral thesis by copying large passages without marking them as quotations. He lost his degree and the position as minister.
