This is when your boss pulls you and group of your coworkers together to "brainstorm" a concept when they already have a plan. This fake brainstorm is designed to make you feel valued and important, but it actually does the opposite.

I hate it when Joe Bossy Pants gives us a research assignment only to find out in the "brainstorm" that he already has a concept and he needs us to implement it. It's a total fakestorming session.
