An oxymoron.
It is speaking about the state of bird photographers who will do anything to take a great photo of wildlife. The list of actions include:
1. Feeding of wild birds
2. Stepping on wild birds 'by accident' (OBVIOUSLY they just dont want others to get the same photo opportunity)
3. Recommend culling of bird's native predators
4. Pushing their way around with their massive lens to get a good position and refuse to move even if obstructing the path
5. Witholding information of bird locality, even if information would be vital for ornithologist conducting avian research
6. Breaking local rules and entering restricted areas, endangering lives of those around them
7. Handling of wild animals to prevent them from disturbing their subject
8. Unnecessary destruction of vegetation in wild areas to get clearer view of the bird

Get the Backyard Birdermug. often referring to a messy and tangled nature; short for birdsnest. Most notably referring to one’s ‘MANE’ problem, their hair
I have real bad birders today, extra conditioner is required.
I’ve got like 3 birders hanging off my dome after camping
If I don’t brush my hair, I’ll get the birders
Don’t worry hun, sometimes birders means she had a great time last night

Get the Birdersmug. Having a hard on for birds; their version of Pornhub is watching birds mate. Gets sexually arroused by birds mating and feeding their young. Very weird people.
The birder/birders saw a falcon on top of a building at the University of Kansas and immediately got a hard on and freaked out.

Get the Birdermug. An idiotic subculture most prevalent in boomers. Being a birder consists of watching birds and then telling people how amazing your hobby is. People people who identify as birders are generally tepid and uncreative simpletons. Not to be confused with a Naturalist.
The Virgin Birder sits on a park bench at 2PM watching pigeons, while the Chad Naturalist goes on a month long expedition in Antarctica to count penguins.
