Arlie is the name of a boy or girl, found 1 in 49,000 for girls and 1 in 97,000 for boys. it is a rare name, to say the least, and is one that is stereotyped instantly as people won't have met one before (probably). Male Arlies are (this is my experience) usually nerdy, into all manner of fiction and bad at video games. Female Arlies are said to be kind, but also a pain in the ass if you are to get on their bad side. Arlie is also the name of an alternative indie-pop band based in Nashville, Tennessee, which was founded in 2015.
