Albany-Metro is deff not a hick-ish farmland. Filled with gangsters who might shoot you and snobby rich kids who drive around sick cars, vacation at the hamptons or luxury ski resorts, and count their cash. Surrounded by suburbs where everyone drinks, smokes, and parties because there is nothing else to do. Everyone and their brother is Italian. Alotttt of college kids: UAlbany, Union, RPI, etc.
Pretty sweet location with the city like 2 hours away, new england across the hudson, and montreal just up north.

Albany is the home of one of the most dysfunctional State governments in the United States yet has the most intelligent and resourceful citizens residing within the State. Albany continues to stand as the pivotal region in Upstate development despite the growing instances of douchebaggery from the minority of SUNY Albany students who still think it's cool to destroy their neighborhoods, their city, and the reputation of their State University.

Get the Albanimug. a small town in northern california right next to berkeley. supposedly good schools, i guess they are ok. Doesn't seem to have a lot of drugs/alcohol but does in some places. BART tracks are heard everywhere. No one has heard of it. One square mile. Part of the middle school is in neighbooring city of El Cerrito. Only one old lady clothing store. No restaurants. All that stuff is in berkeley/el cerrito. Solano biggest merchandise. But most of solano is in berkeley. El Cerrito plaza= el cerrito. =p
