Pilgrimize

(Verb) To apply a style that is very reflective of post-modern self-awareness in pop culture. Often employing heavy satirical humor and subtle reference to other works. A technique perfected by Edgar Wright in the first two installments of his "Blood and Ice Cream Trilogy" ("Shaun of the Dead" and "Hot Fuzz") with its name taken from his "Scott Pilgrim vs. The World."

In twenty years, film historians will still be debating weather or not "Kick-Ass" successfully Pilgrimized superhero films.

There is no denying that "Hot Fuzz" Pilgrimizes action movies in a nigh flawless manner.

pilgrim

1. An uptight, unimaginative, narrow-minded,prudish person. They don't engage in any activities they feel deviate from their norms, mostly because they are insecure about something.

2. Your typical conservative. Against abortion, but has no problem killing innocent children in the war. Hates women, but hates being gay even more. Believes everything the Bible "preaches" about homosexuality but ignores the stuff about love, closeness, togetherness, friendship and tolerance.

Stop being such a pilgrim and French me.

Pilgrim

A full time Trade Union official funded through the public purse. This was first a reference to "Nurse" Jane Pilgrim, who was paid £40,000 a year but instead worked full time for the Trade Union UNISON.

He doesn't really work as Teacher, he is a pilgrim.
