Stagflation

An economic environment of low, near-zero inflation.
Wow, unemployment isn't necessarily high and I inflation is super low; I would describe this as an example of stagflation.

smugflation

Smugflation (noun): When elitist leftists become so insufferably smug and dismissive of the working class that they drive union workers and blue-collar voters to the right. It’s fueled by taxing the poor for their climate & social crusades while the rich skate by on government incentives.
Oh look another Democrat politician wanting the poor to pay for the rich Teslas through incentives. The smugflation is at 100% today.

The smugflation of this guy preaching to the Plumber that they should only drive green vehicles to work.

Oh look, they want to tax the poor again for rich people to buy more Teslas. The Smugflation index is at 100% today.

Smugflation inflated elitism manifests as:

1. Patronizing policies that burden the working class, demanding they foot the bill for grandiose climate and social agendas, while the wealthy remain untouched by meaningful sacrifice.

2. A repulsive dismissiveness toward the values and struggles of the working class, casting them as obstacles to progress rather than partners in societal improvement.

3. A tone-deaf inability to connect with working-class concerns, fostering resentment so deep that traditional Democratic strongholds flip allegiance in frustration.
